Kendall walks into the courtyard, minding her own business, when she runs into Samore, who is acting very funny, even for himself. Luckily Mikael and Atria are around to help make sure he doesn't hurt himself or anybody else, or who knows what would have happened.

Stasia's got a new knot, and her, C'zan, and Kendall met one of the newest residents, Sabriel, who makes a friend out of Casanth since she's good at scritching eyeridges.

Firedance makes a trip to the Dusty Dog, which means Starflame has a party to crash! You think after so many times, Firedance would just start to invite them, but no... Anyways, the Starflamer don't come by themselves, they bring lots of friends. They have no problems with inviting people to other people's parties. Or at least that's what Kendall and Jemina get told. Of course, that information was probably biased considering the person telling them was eight turn old Kaci. They both try to convince her that nannies are actually nice, defintly not evil.

Kendall and Cassire go to Ierne and run into Lishani who is making the candidates exercise, including a former Southerner, Aedai. Thankfully for the candidates, Lishani lets them take a break so she can talk.

Lots of people end up talking in the garden cottage clearing, including Syrene, A'dre, Kendall, R'ell, L'xem, Atria, and Stasia, who Kendall meets for the first time.

Lacey, R'ell, Fiora and Kendall talk with Gwen who is really not happy about the fact that her blue is flirting with one of the weyrling green's, who happens to have a male rider. Later on, Fiora, R'ell and Kendall try to come up with possible jobs for Lora when she's older.

I found it. The second part of Kendall and Cassire's trip to the crafthall, where they actually get there and find Syrene to talk to before having to fly back to the Weyr.

After watching an eating contest, Kendall and Merianya end up debating wether a dreaded fish tasting treat is a cookie or a cracker until they come up with a suitable name for it.
